Get Your Course Ready to Go Using CIT's Beginning of Semester Checklist!

Let NECC's Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) help you make sure your Blackboard course is ready to go. Using CIT's Beginning of the Semester Checklist, this workshop will guide you through the steps for making sure your course runs smoothly for you and your students. Participants in this workshop will learn how to use the CIT Beginning of the Semester Checklist and Student Preview Mode to check due dates, ensure hyperlinks work in your course, and connect (set up) your Content Collection (so you can avoid running out of space and the dreaded Blackboard error message: 'exceeded your quota'). Plus, you will learn/review how to make your course visible to your students, how to make sure you have subscribed to your ‘Course Questions’ Blackboard discussion forum, and how to move your new courses to the top of your course listing.
